This has happened to me sometimes w/ my laptop. Here's what I do: * check the volume control dial... Sometimes pulling the laptop from its bag turns the volume all the way down. * sometimes after an online update, I have to run gamix to turn the master volume back on and turn my mic back on. (I lost 2 lectures worth of stuff over this one) On Wed, 12 May 2004 12:41pm, Sean Quinlan wrote: > OK, sometime in the last week or so sound on my system has stopped > working.
