ATI TV Wonder PCI + SuSe 8.0

Hi,

When I installed SuSe 8.0 it automatically detected
and "configured" my TV card.

However, when I tried Xawtv it locked up my machine
and I had to reboot. I tried kwintv, it didn't lock up
my machine but I just get static.

Any pointer how to correctly set it up ?
