915G Sound drivers for SuSE 9.2

Hi Guys,
Just joined this list - hopefully it is the correct one for my question.

I have an MSI 915G based motherboard and SuSE 9.2 cannot detect the 
onboard sound system. (CMI9880L)

I have tried BIOS settings for both AC97 and AZALIA.

I cannot find anything helpful on the SuSE website, nor Intel, nor ALSA, 
nor Google!!

Can anyone please help me with getting onboard sound working.
