Hi Babu,
I'm afraid I can't help you, but I can report something similar
on other cards as well - YaST2 detects, configures, starts alsa
nicely, and then, on reboot, it says "Restoring default
settings" and solidly hangs the machine! :(
Perhaps it's not the problem of your card, but some bug in alsa
initialization?
