take the easy way, use the crontab of root:

0 4 * * 2-6 /bin/su - oracle -c "/u0/backup/scripts/hotbackup.sh "
0 6 * * 2-6 /bin/su - oracle -c "/u0/backup/scripts/cpbackup.sh"

and root will run your scrips as user oracle with oracle env...
