Hi Peter, I have answered this before, please search for vipca or "10gR2 RAC install" on this list for detail. Error is due to LD_ASSUME_KERNEL line in vipca and it needs to be commented out. Re-run vipca manually from another window to by-pass the problem. You may have to run "oifcfg getif" before running vipca.
