RE: SLES 10 and Oracle 10g R2, a lot of Oracle Process

Hi 

Haven't seen your previous error so I  will relates   to what you have
added  now . 

Firs t check id your  listener on the  STD  is  up and  running AND
servicing  your D  global service .  If  not  the  archive  will not  be
sent by the  Primary DB . (Std is  not  pulling , Primary is  pushing )
. 

Which error  message   you get  once    you try to connect  via  sqlplus
?

Dear all,

This is new error beside the other one I already posting.

I have configure stand by database on fujitsu tx200 s2, memory 2 GByte.
The error is arise on standby server.

The standby server can't transport the archive_log from primary server.
I can't run sqlplus "/ as sysdba" command on the standby server.

Using top a lot of oracle process over there.

Did someby have encounter this problem?
