RE: RMAN: Backup of archived refo log of a differnt thread in RAC

I use the following code block on my 2 node cluster and it backs up all the archived redo logs for both threads.
I am also able to recover my database from the backup.

I only use node 2 to backup the archived logs for both nodes.

run
{
    #*********************************
    # Backup Archived Logs
    #*********************************
    change archivelog all crosscheck;
    backup  archivelog all
    format '/backup/rman/oraadmin/ARC_%d_%p_%s.RMan'
    filesperset 16
    delete input;
}

Hi DBAs,

how can I take a rman backup in RAC, only using, let's say node 2, that backups all archived redo logs (they're on shared media of course, they're in FRA)?

I tried:
Allocating Channels only to node 2, and executed "backup as compressed backupset current controlfile database plus archivelog [delete input]"
(all within one run block)

BUT: If I restore the archived redo logs on another host for testing purposes, I get a message like that:
"RMAN-06025: Kein Backup des Log-Threads 4 seq 54789 lowscn 24315060405 zur Wiederherstellung gefunden" for every thread <> 2.

Maybe something like "backup archivelog all thread X;" was useful, but I did not find anything like that.

Can you help me out? Thanks in advance!
