Hi,

was the CRS setup successful, especially the root.sh execution? Can you paste its output?
Do you use multipath?

Background: There are issues in CRS (clsfmt) with the new kernel, too. See patch and bug 4679769.

Hello,
I am having problems during installation of the RAC on SLES10.1 machine.
I repaired the issue with vipca and LD_ASSUME_KERNEL (uset in vipca 
script), but when I start vipca manually it gives me errors like
CRS-0184 - cannot communicate with crs daemon
PRKR-1062- failed to find configuration for node1

When I issue ./crs_stat -t  then it gives me
CRS-0202: No resources are registered.

The check seems to be ok too:
./crsctl check crs
CSS appears healthy
CRS appears healthy
EVM appears healthy

My configuration is SLES10 SP1  - on 2 vmware virtual machines using 
shared virtual drive. The ocr and voting are on the shared storage as raw 
devices. oracle user is a member of disk group.

the log from crsd.log follows
Can you help me to resolve the issue? I found on internet some few people 
having the same problem, but I did not find any solution.
