Re: [suse-oracle] Installation of oracle 10g on SuSE Linux 10 sp2 for IBM Power P6

Sir,

I have installed C/C++ Compiler and Tools as mentioned in the mail. 
Besides I went to IBM website and downloaded IBM XL C/C++ 
(vacpp.rte.80.sles10.oct2007.update.tar.gz) which I installed.

When trying to install oracle, at 88% I am getting this "Error  in 
invoking target 'client_sharedlib' of makefile 
/data/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db1/network/lib/ins_net_client.mk". The 
log output is attached.

Dear Mark,

Please make sure you have C/C++ compiler & Tools installed along with 
32bit compatible (devel) packages. Please use yast to see these install 
patterns.

Unfortunately, I don't have IBM Power P6 to try out but feel free to post 
your questions to [email protected] mailing list.
