It is not possible. Install Vmware ESXi (which is free) onto your hardware, or install Server2 Beta (which is in excellent quality, but youy should use VC client to manage it and not their urgly web interface) onto your SLES10 SP2 (it works great). Don't use multi cpu mode for your guest(s) - it can cause performance problems when your host dont have VT feature. Be adviced that Win2K8 uses a crazy activation, so you can change ## of CPU but ytou can't change ## or memory without reactivation. Alex PS. Btw, in some cases VT bit is just disabled in the bios. So, check your bios first of all. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ciro Iriarte" <[email protected]> To: "Shashi Kanth Boddula" <[email protected]> Cc: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, October 20, 2008 6:57 AM Subject: Re: [suse-sles-e] Windows 2008 on XEN SLES10 SP2 Without Intel VT > 2008/10/20 Shashi Kanth Boddula <[email protected]>: >> Just i am checking from this list, is it possible, or is there any work >> around about how can install Windows 2008 on XEN SLES10 SP2 in the >> servers with-out Intel-VT/AMD-V ? > > It's not possible... > > Regards, > Ciro > _______________________________________________ > suse-sles-e mailing list > [email protected] > http://listx.novell.com/mailman/listinfo/suse-sles-e > _______________________________________________ suse-sles-e mailing list [email protected] http://listx.novell.com/mailman/listinfo/suse-sles-e
