Not. at all..

SLES10 SP2 - original CAN"T RUN oracle because of the fatal bug in aio. SLES10 SP2 + upgrade runs pretty good.

(Old story - Novell never learn how to test Linuxes, so every new linux release have a critical bug, fixed in the first 
or second update. It's the case with sles10 release, sles10 sp1, sles10 sp2, sles9 sp4. In all cases, updated versions 
works pretty good.)
