  first, for bcm4318, i'm pretty sure i don't need b43legacy, just
b43.  also, i can see where i can get a package of *just* the
/lib/firmware/b43 firmware files:

  http://packman.links2linux.de/package/b43-firmware

but it's still not clear where one gets the b43-fwcutter utility for
SLES 11.  that's all i need to finish this off.  so i keep thinking i
need to download the tarball and take it from there.  i simply don't
see a simple way involving downloading and installing a package.
