Hi Arun, I read note 1310037 (SAP Installation on SLES 11) and I still find the hint "If you intend to install Oracle and SAP on the same system, please, do not install the "Oracle Server Base" pattern (i.e. the "orarun" RPM package) on the system. Doing so, will prevent "sapinst" from doing a correct installation of the SAP system parts." - but maybe it's just the poor formatting, and it's meant for plain SLES11 without SP. Well, my Oracle DBs are separated from my SAP boxes now (they went to a RAC), so I can run VMs without the Oracle pieces now. It's a better feeling somehow :-) Regards, Werner -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.15 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with SUSE - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAkyQ6scACgkQk33Krq8b42PxSwCfYTz/c05y5K49ZuWY2IjlS5ss EWwAn3w3Yce/wd6rOIPNpoYPr8RoihcP =0Dqg -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ suse-oracle mailing list [email protected] http://listx.novell.com/mailman/listinfo/suse-oracle
