Yes, this SAP note is meant for SLES11 & SLES11 SP1. 

Needed change is done in orarun of SLES11 SP1 to not over-write some of the kernel parameter modifications done by sapinit. It seems some work is needed on sapinit front. Watch SAP note for update, when this gets implemented. Sorry for the confusion.
