Yes, this SAP note is meant for SLES11 & SLES11 SP1. Needed change is done in orarun of SLES11 SP1 to not over-write some of the kernel parameter modifications done by sapinit. It seems some work is needed on sapinit front. Watch SAP note for update, when this gets implemented.
