Once again I want to thanks you for your assistance on this issue.

Method 1) 

I have tried the ASMLib drivers from
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/topics/linux/downloads/sles11-099661.html
and I'm able to install "oracleasm-support-2.1.3-1.SLE11.x86_64.rpm"
successfully but "oracleasmlib-2.0.4-1.SLE11.x86_64.rpm" is failing to be
installed with this error message :

	nothing provides oracleasm >= 1.0.4 needed by
oracleasmlib-2.0.4-1.SEL11.x86_64

Am I missing a step with method 1?  Will the SP1 disc assist be in resolving
this error?

Method 2)

Will I be able to download SP1 just for the libraries and use it with
openSUSE?

Hi Howard,

Do you have SLES11 or SLES11 SP1 DVD (else how you installed OS)? Kernel
portion ( oracleasm-kmp) is included in the SLES11 OS (not openSUSE).
