Re: [suse-oracle] ASM and migration

For the same question, I've opened up an SR not so long ago and Oracle 
told me, as long as the Endianness of the machines is the same 
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endianness), you may swap ASM disks 
between machines at will.
We'll do it in the near future, though maybe in a few weeks, I'm back on 
this list to complain it didn't work ;-)
So before that transition you make backups, do you...?
