Some remarks

  - had also mentioned XE at the last lines ;)

  - openSUSE is not supported with XE - you also have printed the 
Requirements at your blog ;)

  - with XE you don't need orarun - XE has it all itself - and it may 
harm the XE installation, because it set some Oracle environment 
globally for the system. Ok it has also some needed rpm dependencies but 
they are only for the SLES packages and may not work for openSUSE
