Re: [suse-oracle] Linux system overloaded by oracle and not responding

Hi Anton,
the SGA is now 24G (there is almost nothing else running on the system
using ram). The rollbacks are about 25G. We want to use the SGA mainly
for caches to have more performance.
I dont see any stress to memory usage or swap during those overload times.
Any idea how to maybe limit oracle processes not to use all resources
and keep system activity (connect to the system with ssh etc) still
running? Would there be a chance to limit oracle not to use all cores
(permanently reserve 1 core for non oracle processes)?
