Hi Gaetano,
=20
What Oracle WebLogic Server version you are trying? Please check your =
download it maybe 32 bit.=20
To use WebLogic Server with 64bit JVM's on SLES 11(x86_64), use the =
WebLogic generic installer listed under "Additional Platforms".=20
=20
Download generic WebLogic installation. Re-run the Weblogic installation =
as following:
=20
#java -jar wls1032_generic.jar
=20
=20
Next, re-run the Portal... and Discoverer installation.
=20
# ./runInstaller

Hi to All

I need to install Oracle Portal Forms etc... on my Linux server.
During the installation, in the step 5 of 15 (Specify Installation =
Location) this message is displayed:

INST-07408: Unable to install or configure the product on a 32-bit JVM on =
a 64 bit machine

I have execute:

oracle@oracledev:~> java -version
java version "1.6.0_26"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_26-b03)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.1-b02, mixed mode)
oracle@oracledev:~>

It would seem a 64 bit version.

Have someone an idea in order to resolve my problem ?

Best Regards
Gaetano
