Is not necesary install ASM on SAP servers only on database servers. Use =

ASM is transparent to the apps , SAP or .....
You can copy files from ASM to a external file system  and viceversa,  =

or copy files a remote instance.
I don't know about OCFS and ASM question.  Starting with 11g R2 Oracle =

provide a ACFS (Asm Cluster file system) that is that you can create a =

file system using a ASM volumen, to store regular files.
