I've been a bit busy lately to dig them up but I have some patches to udftools that fix cdrwtool to use standards compliant CCBs to format the disk. I had to make these changes when my old cd/dvd combo drive crapped out and the new one didn't like cdrwtool. I spent some time looking into it and found that the CCBs were not as the standards said they should be, so I am not sure why it seems to work for most cd-rws and some older cd/dvd combo drives. In any case, I'll see if I can't dig them up and post them. It might allow you to return that cd-rw drive and use your existing dvd combo. fred wrote: > Because I don't like utf8.
