Oh, one other reason why I  seem to need to use pktcdvd, I cannot run

mkudffs /dev/sr1

I have to enable pktcdvd and then I can run

mkudffs /dev/pkcdvd/dvdram...

Can you install an UDF filesystem with mkudffs directly on your drive 
wihtout pktcdvd?
