pktsetup + fedora 3

hi to everyone!

i'm Davide and write from italy
i would know if someone of  you have implemented the udf packet writing
on Fedora core3..(kernel 2.6.9 patched and pktsetup 1.0.0b3 patched
because  i have this problem:
when modprobe pktcdvd, the device pktcdvd0 appear on /dev but whith strange
"caracter" (crw-------  1 root root 10, 62) and there isn't one directory
pktcdvd on /dev whith into the "0" device..so when i try to setup pktcdvd
i obtain "ioctl: Inappropriate ioctl for device"
..if i create the "0" device on /dev/pktcdvd/ and try to setup it..the system
hang!

if anyone have any suggestion...ghh
