This image also doesn't give me a bootable CD on the iMac - either via 
OF or as described above. If I boot OSL 11.1 the CD is visible when in 
the drive, and looks sensible, but when I boot OS-X (10.3) the CD label 
is shown as FIX_ME* though again the contents are visible.

Examining the iMac bootability of this image is beyond me but maybe 
someone on this list can advise?

FWIW I get md5sum:
e3ab96c657cb6bf92dadd4995ce68237  openSUSE-NET-ppc-Build0004-Media.iso
