It took a bit of searching to find out about booting through the open firmware. 
Once I figured that part out and using the work around from Alexander, I got it 
to boot and started the installation; however, it seems that DNS is not working. 
I was asked for the HTTP IP address - something that I do not know. The wired 
interface on the Mac is working.

I do not have time to work on this problem at the moment, but will let you know 
what I find later.
