On SuSE 8.0 the package you need is probably called 'xdevel'. You MUST
install the devel-package that fits to your X package. Look what
package your X belongs to:

    rpm -qf `which X`

which will probably be xf86-X.Y.Z-NN and then you have to look on your
CDs/DVDs for the package 'xdevel-X.Y.Z-NN' and install that.
