Recently I had a problem where ftp-proxy was closing the connection long
before it's configured timeout.  An upgrade from 1.5 to 1.9 solved the
problem.  Today I have the flu and feel rather like I have a truck on top of
my body. When I came to my computer I found the following email in my Drafts
folder and thought it was an email from the proxy-suite list, I followed up
to my own draft :-(   Anyway to complete the story an upgrade fixed the
problem and here is a complete copy of my never-sent-to-the-list draft:
