PXE failing with mismatched kernel

Installed from the liveDVD to a VMware virtual PC
Then did Online Update for 'Needed Patches'.
Then LTSP, including the 3/31/10 change.

PXE from another virtual PC starts but fails.

I don't know if this will help.

Selecting Debug during on the KIWI- LTSP green screen I see in the messages:
   Kernel versions do not match rebooting in 5 sec...

A later one is:
 [  62.244031] Pid: 1, com: reboot Not tainted 2.6.31.12-0.1-default #1

Per the System Monitor screen on the Installed s/w:
Release 11.2
Kernel Linux 2.6.31.12-0.2-default
 
Note: 0.1 vs.0.2 Is this the mismatch ?

Any suggestions ?
