Have you thought about a participation in the Google Summer of Code 
project already?

I've added a topic for discussions around this on 
http://en.opensuse.org/Education/Meetings/Education_Meeting_2009-03-10
already - but maybe you can already start thinking about adding an idea 
on http://en.opensuse.org/Summer_of_Code_2009 - so students can find it 
there...
