New to list

Hi I just joined the list. 
 
I just loaded the 7.3 sparc version on an ultra 5 and I am using a 15" LCD
display that prefers 1024x768.  I have this setup working fine for normal X
operation but during the bootup, after the normal Sun memory check and silo
prompt, the monitor goes blank and shows an "Out of Range" error like the
resolution is not in a range it can display.  Is there a way via a boot
param or config that can set this to display?
