The only way I could suggest to you is to install a new supported version of
the Linux for sparc.

If you want to play with suse you can try to complie a new kernel with
usb/firewire support, I think the usb is already supported with the 7.3
suse.

Hi all,

I just got an Ultra 10 (my first experience with a sparc system) and
managed to install Suse 7.3 without any problems. Now I would like to
set up the USB/Firewire PCI card (VIA chipset). Is this possible? What
are the steps to follow? do I need to get into the OpenBoot and do
something in it?
