I have used six in an enterprise 4000 6x166Mhz. The system seened to utilize then rather well with postfix. Suse 7.1 installs a 2.2 series kernel. Redhat 6.2 installs a 2.2? series kernel (pretty out of date). I am not sure about debian. > _________________________________________________________ > Davin Carter > Wall Street On Demand > > [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> > phone 303.417.9999 x205 > fax 303.440.2982 > > > -----Original Message----- From: Solarisexpert.com [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, April 12, 2002 7:04 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [suse-sparc] How many CPUs can I go up to ? How many CPUs are supported by a 2.2.x kernel ? Is there any difference between Linux distributions as far as the kernel itself is concerned ?
