With the release of gcc 3.1 today, I noticed that sparc 64 support is enabled and supported. Does this mean that we can get rid of the egcs64 compiler and just have one compiler for the suse sparc? Is it possible to cleanly compile 64 bit code in the linux sparc 64 bit kernels? thaks in advance for any information.
