Re: Unable to install suse 7.3 on ultrasparc

firstly: I'm not an expert on this topic.
I made my first experiance w. 7.3 on sparc last night.

but may be this is helpfull anyway:

how did you try to install??

boot cdrom
boot net - install

did you burn the isofiles on cd or are they just on your harddisk?

I tried severaltimes vainly to install 7.3 on an Ultra 10 .
the mistake I made was, I burnt the cd w. wrong format.
the format which finally worked was raw-iso, I burnt it with Instant-CD.
