Net booting problem with root.img

Sorry if this is a double post, I think I may have submitted this already, but 
I never saw it in my mailing list so I don't think it made it.


tftpboot.img file for the network bootable kernel image requires that there 
be a root.img file in /usr/src.  I can't find any information on the format 
of this file or what needs to be in it so the machine can mount its 
filesystem from the nfs server.  Right now to get it to boot I have to pass 
all the variables at the boot prom line (which I can't save as the default 
anyway).
