Hi,

this time in English,

It´s a SS20 with ROM 2.22

Ok,

on Disk with SCSI ID 3 I´ve installed SuSe 7.3,
on Disk with SCSI ID 1 I´ve installed Solaris 9.

In PROM I can boot both Systems by using "boot linux" or "boot solaris". I
did this nvalias stuff in the prom.

This ist silo.conf file

------
timeout=1000
partition=1
read-only

image=/vmlinuz
  label=linux
  root=/dev/sdb4

other=/iommu/sbus/espdma/esp/sd@1,0;1
  label=solaris
------

Booting Linux works fine (beside my other question)

but if I try to boot solaris I get this error message

------
Fatal error: Wrong disklabel magic
Buggy old PROMs don´t allow reading past 1GB from start of the disk. Send
complains to SMCC

Read error on block 1 (tried 512, got -1)

Internal error while loading physical blocks from device

Image not found.... try again
------

any suggestions

thanks

Peter
