ne2k-pci on SPARC DOESN'T WORK

Here we go.
On Sparc Ultra 10 (2.4.19-pre9) **modprobe ne2k-pci** looks good first:

eth0: RealTek RTL-8029 found at 0x1fe02000800, IRQ 6926976, 52:54:05:F8:5B:AF.

and I can ping the NIC after ifconfig 'em an IP.

But thats all! NO ftp, ssh, xdm (sure, server runs)... AND NO MESSAGES
FROM DRIVER (even with debug=31).
