Hi

I am looking at using VLANs on my Ultra 5s. I have the built in Happy Meal
which I don't think supports VLAN tagging so I have added Intel EtherExpress
PRO 100 cards which do.
I have compiled a 2.4.18 kernel with VLAN support and the eepro100
module/driver.
I have installed the vconfig program which sets up the VLANs.

However when I run "vconfig add eth1 10" (which adds a vlan sub-interface
with tag 10) it does not work. The vconfig program runs but produces an
unknown command error.

I have also tried to compile the Intel e100 driver but I can't make it
compile on the Sparc.

Has anybody had any luck setting up VLANs? if so do you have some tips for
me.

Thanks

Andrew Hooper
