Hi all,

Just installed SUSE 7.3 on my Sparcstation IPX.
While YAST2 was making the boot setings it failed setting up SILO.
On the right top corner there was an error message: "gzip: broken pipe"

Now I can boot my system via the tftp image provided on the CD and select
boot installed system so the rest of the installation is ok.

Doe anyone how to solve this?

Extra info:
- Sparcstation IPX without monitor and keyboard.
- I use a serial console on a I386 with SUSE linux using "cu"
- Installed SUSE using NFS (NFS server on i386)
- Did the install twice, got same error.

TIA,

Coen
