To my knowledge, it auto-negotiates with whatever hub/switch you hook it to.

My Ultra 2 with same adapter connects with full duplex the minute it plugs
into the Linksys switch. What speed are you connecting at? 100Mbps? I know
that works @ full duplex since SuSE 7.1 Sparc distribution.
