Yes I got the 2.4.19 running with a bit of pain. It is very stable. The best FAQs were http://www.ultralinux.org/faq.html and http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Kernel-HOWTO.html

I thought NONE of the 2.4 kernels ran on the sparc32 processors?

Did someone get 2.4 running consistently on the Sun4m (sparc32) processor?
