SMP-Kernel 2.2. on Ultra 450 dual does not work.

hallo, list,

I have a problem with my Sun Ultra 450 elite3D, dual processor machine to work with the SMP-Kernel using SuSE 7.1 and also 7.3. I do not know exactly, what kernel SuSE used. It is also unpossible to me, to change kernel sources I got.
On boot time there is still the message

Starting CPU 3...

and the machines hangs (there are only two processors).
Please, could anybody help me?
