Compiling New Kernel

Am I missing something?? I'm trying to compile the latest, greatest stable
kernel (2.4.20) and, after I do the 'make menuconfig' and 'make dep', I can't
seem to do 'make bzImage'. Does anyone know what's the deal??? I keep getting
the message "make: *** No rule to make target `bzImage'.  Stop".
