I have inherited a Ultra1 with no Solaris version available. I was trying to install 7.3 and the yast2 installer returns message that partitioning on my hard drives failed. I have tried both default and custom partitioning boot fail at same point. Using rescue I can see both disk and supposedly create new SUN labels on them. Yes I did "w" after creating new labels :-) But when rescue restarted the message claims that the labels are corrupted. This system had Solaris 8 on it before this tragedy occurred :-( Bryan Kelley Motorola SPS IT Technology Management The information contained in this email is classified as: General Business Information Motorola Internal Use Only Motorola Confidential Proprietary Personal Memorandum <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> email: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> Phone: 480-413-7407
