Hi Frans

You need to check that the network mask is correctly set, you can do this
via yast 1 or 2 or look in the SuSE config files, I am a bit rusty with SuSE
but they hold almost the entire config in a single file which is used to
generate several system files, but I can't remember what it is called.
I assume that you have tested with ping and traceroute that you can reach
the other networks and that you are going via the correct router.
Faults like this are invariably mask and default gateway related however
your address may be filtered by the router, can you ping the machine for the
local network?

Let me know how you get on and I will try to help some more.

Subject: [suse-sparc] Install Problem Enterprise 250

Hello,

In the last couple of weeks i've installed Suse 7.3 For Sparc
on a Enterprise 250 system. Everything is working well.

However, this machine isn't reachable from other networks.

The ip address = 10.2.3.235
Our router has ip adres 10.2.3.241 (Default Gateway)

We have about 30 intranet networks.
eg 10.2.3.X 10.2.30.x and 10.159.3.x etc.

Am i missing something. Below are the scripts.

travel-mi:/ # cat /etc/resolv.conf
nameserver 10.11.1.20
nameserver 10.11.1.21
search travel-net.nl travel-net.nl
