I have installed Suse 7.3 on a SS5 and then afterwards upgraded the kernel to 2.4.19 (ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/kukuk/SPARC/kernel) and recompiled the kernel. So far so good, everything seems to be working fine. I'd like to set up one of the partitions as an encrypted partition, I believe the following web refeence contains up-to-date info on how this can be done (if its not the "right stuff" please let me know). http://sdb.suse.de/en/sdb/html/jsj_crypto_filesystem_mini_howto.html Problem is that the first step is to load the module loop_fish2 which doesn't seem to be a part of the distribution I have set up on the SS5. I've gone through the kernel config options and if it is there I haven't been able to find it. Can anyone give me a clue? Michael
