Sorry to chime in so late, but I got lost being busy too. Nevertheless, 
I was rather shocked when reading "The end of TuxOnIce". A lot of 
valuable ideas would have been lost if you abandoned its development.

UserUI with its nice progress display and the ability to cancel or 
reboot (think about dual boot users!), configurability, better debugging 
information, great support... Not to put any blame on the other kernel 
pm devs, their work is great too, but Nigel simply did it better ;-)

It's fantastic news to hear you changed your mind. Maybe some ideas will 
still get into mainline after all?

However, I wish you good luck and fun with your personal projects and 
drupal development too!
