Currently I still use in-mainline-kernel hibernation. Since 3.2, I 
currently use rc4, it even has multithreading which speeded up writing the 
image to Intel SSD 320 from about 160-190 MB/s to about 370-400 MB/s. The 
slow speed to previous in kernel implementation was my biggest incentive 
to try out TuxOnIce again.

Maybe I take time to try out TuxOnIce again over the holidays. At least I 
can compile kernels really fast now.
