Hi, I thing reliability is favorite feature of TOI, here  is my proof:

My sony VGN-Z21xn is reliably hibernating over one year!

TuxOnIce debugging info:
- TuxOnIce core  : 3.2-rc2
- Kernel Version : 2.6.36-05054-g2f7cffa
- Compiler vers. : 4.4
- Attempt number : 503
- Parameters     : 0 667648 0 0 0 5
- Overall expected compression percentage: 0.
- Compressor is 'lzo'.
   Compressed 3974656000 bytes into 1263051396 (68 percent compression).
- Block I/O active.
   Used 312055 pages from swap on /dev/sda1.
- Max outstanding reads 6277. Max writes 2703.
   Memory_needed: 1024 x (4096 + 328 + 112) = 4644864 bytes.
   Free mem throttle point reached 4184.
- Swap Allocator enabled.
   Swap available for image: 1197041 pages.
- I/O speed: Write 234 MB/s, Read 616 MB/s.
- Extra pages    : 17 used/500.
- Result         : Succeeded.

Speed is OK, it is first generation of IntelSSD and main reason for 
reboot is installation of IntelSSD 320series.

TOI works without issue for me on 3 notebooks for years, I can't 
remember may last bugzilla report. I use vanilla kernel hibernation only 
on Asus eee box, where is TOI broken for some reason (ma last bugzilla 
report :).
